The next day Ciel woke up without Serena beside him, which made him upset-he had no idea why Serena wasn't beside him so he left the room and he went around to see the only one that was in the house was Nile and he was reading a book in the living room. He noticed Ciel was finally awake and smiled at him. "Mornin' kid. If you're looking for Serena-she's at school right now."
"School? You mean to tell me that woman actually gets educated?"
"Yeah, speaking of educated. She educated most of us on what was going on with you. The only other person who really knows who you are is Justina the woman that placed you here. The time where you're from is so out dated, women nowadays have a lot more freedom to do what they wish than they had back then. But it does make me wonder something about you kid."
Ciel raised an eyebrow at the elder male. "What might that be?"
Nile got up and he went to his laptop that was on the side of the dining room. Once it was on he looked at Ciel. "How do you spell your name kid?"
Ciel spelt out his name fully before Nile turned his laptop so he could see just what came up for him. Ciel's eyes widen as he saw that he was just a mere fictional character as Serena had once told him. He didn't believe her-but it made sense as to why her family at first could only see him. No one else believed that he was even real to begin with, they weren't tied to the magic that made him be there. Nile then scrolled down before he looked at Ciel. "Hey Ciel-The name of your father...Was it Vicent Phantomhive?"
Ciel nodded his head. "Yes, that's correct."
"Oh boy....looks like there's going to be some research you and I are going to need to do while Serena is at school. You might not be able to go back if what I think happened-happened."
"Which would be?"
Nile leaned back against the chair and sighed out. "Justina pulled you from your time frame and placed someone to replace you in that place that looked just like you. Meaning you would have no place there if you were to go back. You'll be forever stuck here to live your life around those that pulled you from your point in time."
Ciel looked down sadly as his hands shook in fear, what he had dreamt about wasn't a nightmare-it was warning him about what had came to pass for him. Nile saw this and looked at him concerned. "What's wrong Ciel?"
"Last night, I had a nightmare of sorts. It scared the hell out of me, especially since the voice I heard sounded like a demonic version of my own voice."
Nile tilted his head to the side. "What did the voice tell you Ciel?"
Ciel took a deep breath before he spoke up. "Now that you are gone, I can take your place What was once yours is now mine-your life, your voice even your face You will never be able to go back no matter what happens." He said sadly
Nile placed his hands together in front of him. "Seems like whoever is taking your place is somehow connected to you-I must ask...do you have at twin brother or something that could have possibly taken your place?"
Ciel averted his eyes sadly "I once upon a time did-But he was murdered and molested right in front of me."
"I see, well with what Justina has done. She may have found a way to bring that male back to take your place-hense the nightmare dream you had last night." Nile explained
Ciel shook his head. "The dead cannot come back! He's gone! I saw it with my own two eyes!"
"Magic is a tricky thing as well as mysterious. Even though yes-you saw the male die before you. It doesn't mean that the male is truly gone. His spirit lingers without a purpose, so with the spell that I did I managed to give him purpose and a host body to go forth in." Justina said as she came into the dining room.
"Welcome back Justina. Where's Emily?"
"Emily is talking with father outside. I wanted to see how things were in here." She stated calmly
"I see, so it seems like his father is known around here Justina but he's still known as a fictional character." Nile explained
"Oh? That is rather interesting."Justina said as she walked up to her elder brother "I didn't expect that to happen."
Ciel huffed a bit. "So are you saying that I'm going to be stuck here?"
"Sadly yes, which since that's the case we're going to have to talk to our father about how to get you enrolled into school and how to go about doing things so you can stay here with us." Justina said with a frown "I didn't intend for that to happen but I guess my magic is a bit stronger than I thought it was."
At that time her father and Emily came into the house and went into the dining room. "What's going on here?" Emily asked confused
"Nile has been trying to figure things out for Ciel to see whether or not he'll be able to go back home-and as it stands...Ciel may be stuck here. As of now his father has history in this world which means that at some point in time he'll turn from being the fictional character he is known for to an actual person in this time." Justina explained
The trio's father looked at Ciel. "Have you had any nightmares since being here?"
"I had one last night, it was the first one I've had since being here."
"So...it's beginning. As it stands now you will not be able to go back, within the next few weeks you'll start to have more nightmares reaccuring. Those nightmares will be detaching you from your world and time one by one. For each year you've been there you will be getting that many nightmares. Since you are thirteen years old you have twelve more nightmares to go." The elder male stated
Ciel looked down upset. "So...there is truly no way for me to go back home?"
The elder male shook his head no. "I apologize but there is no way now that we can get you home with what you've managed to go through last night."
Ciel frowned and sighed out. "I guess I should have known better than to think that I could go back home. Will Serena know when she gets home?"
"She'll have to, it'll be then up to her whether or not she still wishes to share a room with you or not."
Ciel nodded his head before he was able to get something to eat, the remainder of the day he spent with the elders of the house to figure out what was going on with him and the time line he was from. As it came to be three in the afternoon Serena came into the house and she was in tears. She didn't say anything to anyone as she just went up to her room. All of them saw what had happened and it was Ciel that had gotten up to see what was going on with her.
As he got to the room he saw her curled up on the bed. "Serena, what seems to be the problem?"
"P-People kept calling me names in school today. I was bullied really badly today and I...I don't wanna go to school no more." She said through her sobs
He crawled onto the bed and he went to sit by her and petted her head softly as he tried to comfort her. "What names did they keep calling you Serena?"
"Mean bad ones, I don't even wanna say because of how bad they were."
"I know that I might not be the best person to give you comfort-but I do worry about you Serena. Will you allow me to comfort you?"
She moved herself closer to him and hugged him tightly. "I-I'd like that very much. T-Thank you Ciel."
He placed his arms around her and petted the back of her head softly as she sobbed out against his chest. Once she finally calmed herself he saw that he ended up falling asleep against his chest. He stayed where he was and held onto the young female as he mulled through everything that he had been told by the elders of the household.
-He was going to get twelve more nightmares throughout the next few months
-His 'twin' brother was going to be his replacement in the world he was once in
-His life as he knew it, won't be as he knew it
-The 'fictional' life he once lived won't be fictional anymore
-He'll never be able to see those he knew anymore
-His demon marked eye will forever be faded and not work for him
Ciel felt more than upset about what he had found out from the elders that were in the family Serena was adopted into. He sulked a bit as he let Serena rest a bit against him. As it got dark, Justina came into the room after she knocked on the door. "How is Rina?"
"She's not well...it seems like there are people that are bullying her. What for, I don't know she wouldn't tell me. But she did cry against me before falling asleep."
"I see...well it's dinner time. Let's get her up and downstairs."
Ciel nodded his head before he looked down at the young brunette female that was against him, he shook her awake gently only for her to look at him flustered as she realized that she had fallen asleep against him. "S-Sorry ciel, I didn't mean to fall asleep against you."
"It's alright Serena, do you think you'll be up to having dinner? Justina just told me to wake you up for it."
She nodded her head and got up before she brushed her hair so she didn't look like a wreck before they went downstairs together. As they did Ciel looked at her concerned, he was truly concerned about what had happened to her when she went to school. At dinner that night her adoptive father spoke up as he looked at Serena. "How was school today?"
"Crap, my teacher had singled me out while I was in school. They said that I was out of class the day before because I had been touched as of I was an adult. That I was a prime example for all of them not to do." She said sadly "Then during recess I had people call me horrible names."
"I know it hurts for you to relive those name calling moments, but what names were you called?"
"Which names do you think I was called?" She said sadly
"Did they seriously call you a whore and a slut just because you were raped?!" Emily said shocked
Serena nodded her head sadly "And things just got worse from there."
Her adoptive father disliked what he was hearing and chose to get a pen and notebook from his office before he wrote a letter to the school. He then gave it to Serena. "Give this to your principal, if anything else happens on monday-walk out and go to the office, as the secretary to call me and I will get you from the school understand?"
"Yes sir, I understand."
After dinner Serena went upstairs to do her homework only for her to get curious about what the elder male wrote to her principal.

My youngest daughter had came home on the second of may crying her eyes out due to the fact that her teacher had singled her out for why she had been out school the day before. Serena had been raped on the thirtyth of April by one of her elder adoptive brothers and the doctor had said that she wasn't to go back to school till the sixth but she wanted to try to go to school and not miss anything. So I wish to ask you to talk with your employees about shaming students that have been raped. She is mentally and emotionally not okay with what has happened to her, she is a wonderful young woman but has been bullied due to something she couldn't control. If you do not do something about your employee I will and you will not like how it will go for you or your school. The day that this reaches you I hope my daughter comes home with a smile on her face not in tears like she had on the second of may.

Serena just shook her head and placed it in her bag before she did her work, as she was working on her homework Ciel came into the room to see what she was doing, when he saw that she was struggling with her math work, he placed a hand on her shoulder only for her to jump a bit as she looked to him. "Oh...it's just you. What's up?"
"You look like you're struggling. Did you want some help?"
She nodded her head. "Sure, I wouldn't say no to that."
Ciel sat beside her and he helped her out with her homework, seeing just what she was working on he knew just where she was with math andd such. It made him realize just how different thing were. After he had finished helping her out with her homework she placed her books away before she turned to look at him. "Ciel, I want to thank you for what you did earlier today. You didn't have to comfort me like you had."
Ciel gave her a weak smile "I did what I had because I care about you Serena-anyways, we're going to be stuck around each other a lot longer than just a month."
She raised an eyebrow at him curiously. "What do you mean by that Ciel?"
He averted his eye as he sighed out. "While you were in school, I had talked with your elder siblings and to your father. Apparently last night was the start of me detaching from the world I'm from."
Serena was quiet for a moment before she moved closer to him in concerned. "May I see your right eye? I wish to see if you still have the demon mark on your eye."
He nodded his head as he took the eyepatch off of his eye only for her to see that it was slowly fading off of his eye. "Ciel, the mark is fading from your eye."
He looked at her sadly. "Your adoptive father had mentioned that I would feel pain but I didn't think that would be part of that pain."
Serena placed her hands over his arm softly reassuringly "I promise you that things will be alright, If things get too bad for you I'll be here for you alright?"
Ciel frowned but nodded his head. "Alright I'll keep you to that Serena. Now I have to ask this because I'm curious about how things are here-Is there anyway for me to be able to keep people from making you cry like they did earlier today?"
She blinked her eyes a few times. "W-Why would you want to do that?"
"I thought it was rather obvious on why. I care a lot for you."
"You say that but what do you mean by that? You've said that many times now. Explain yourself."
He let out a sigh and rubbed between his eyes before he looked at her. "Never mind, if you are to simple minded to know what I mean by it then so be it. I won't waste my time with trying to explain myself to you."
At that time Mitchel came in and he looked at Serena. "Yo sis, CPS is here. You gotta come downstairs."
She nodded her head and she left out with Mitchel. Ciel had no idea what CPS was and chose to go down as well a bit after they had to figure out what the hell was going on only to see an elder woman talking with Serena at the dining room table.
"How have you been Serena?"
"Not well, two days ago while the head of the house was out with Mitchel Tyler raped me when it was just him and I. When the head of the house knew about it he called the cops and had me go to the hospital to get checked up on. Tyler is currently in jail but...it's taking a while for me to be able to stand properly let alone walk without it hurting." Serena said honestly
"Have you tried to go to school recently?"
"Yes, even though the doctor said for me not to until the sixth."
"How did that go for you?"
"Not well, I was called bad names by people in school and my teacher was so mean to me singling me out as if I was a bad student-shaming me for being raped at the age I am." She said sadly "The fifth I am going to be staying home as well as the sixth just because I don't mentally feel like I am ready to go back after what had happened."
"That's fair and fine. As long as you take your mental health into consideration that's all that matters right now. I see that Nile is back, have you two been getting along well?"
"Yes, he's been a great big bro to me. I'm glad to have him back." She said happily
"Mitchel hasn't done anything towards you has he?"
"Goodness no, Mitchel has been the best big bro out there for me. Out of all of my adoptive bro's he's the one I trust the most."
